The quintessential difference between riding freewheel or fixed is that with a freewheel cog there is a bearing that allows the back wheel to rotate free from the movement of the pedals & chain, and allows riders to stop pedaling at any point of the ride to cruise and enjoy their momentum. 

On the contrary, fixed gear cogs intentionally lack the bearing that separates wheel movement from drivetrain movement, meaning the pedals move in a fixed sync with the rear wheels. Ultimately, you cannot coast while riding fixed, your pedals continue to move with the rotation of the bike. For a further details anaysis, check out our Riding A Fixed Gear blog post. 

We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects on all framesets, and 1 year on non-wearable parts**. When we state “manufacturer defects”, that does not include damages resulting from an accident, improper use or lack of maintenance. The FG Cruiser is a new breed of bicycle that the team at Loco Cycles has developed. Where urban and beach mix, The FG Cruiser® is the most advanced Cruiser in comfort, design, and performance. Our bikes are manufactured in accordance with the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission's Bicycle Requirements Business Guidelines. We also facilitate our factory and suppliers on a daily basis and in-person, to ensure quality at each and every step of the way. Our bicycles adhere to rigorous, documented international testing protocols. Our frames are stress-tested with 100,000 compressions according to EN standards.

Bikes will come 85% built, with an Instructions manual that can assist with the final build. We highly recommend you take your bicycle to a local dealer or shop of your choice, so you can properly activate the warranty. This also ensures all the final safety checks are in place, and you can ride safer.

All of our bicycles require different air pressure ranges, depending on tire and riding style. You will always be able to find the pressure ratings in small print, on the sidewall of the tire. We have also listed below for your reference:

Shipping is free for all orders sitewide within the continental United States. This offer excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Shipments to AK, HI, and P.R. require additional surcharges which will be calculated at checkout.

Canada & International Orders
Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the destination country. The buyer is responsible for any and all import taxes, duties, and any other import fees established by your local government. These are not included in the cost of shipping calculated at checkout so please be aware of your local customs for an estimation of those costs. Any additional costs associated with your country's customs policy are non-refundable and refusing shipment due to these fees will be at the customer's expense (including all original shipping charges).

After our standard domestic handling time of 1 business day, you can expect your bike within 2-5 business days. 

International shipping varies by country, you can refer to your tracking number for a better timeline.
